About Devon

Devon Hoyt Design is a full-service interior design firm based in San Diego, California. For as long as she can remember, Devon has loved all things design. After years of working in marketing and doing personal design projects on the side, Devon pivoted to a career in interior design. After going back to school for design and years of working under two prominent interior designers in San Diego, Devon launched her eponymous firm in 2023.

Although born and raised in Southern California, Devon has always been drawn to Southern and New England design styles. An avid traveler, her design inspiration is drawn not only from her home on the California coast but the cobbled streets of Charleston, the stately homes in England, and the charming farmhouses of Provence. Devon’s design style can be best described as timeless and traditional infused with a modern California twist. With a passion for antiques and inherited pieces, Devon’s design approach seamlessly blends the old with the new.

At Devon Hoyt Design, we strive to create classic, effortless spaces that truly feel like home and are filled with curated pieces that are a reflection of the client.

Devon currently resides in San Diego with her husband. If she isn’t designing, she is probably traveling, reading a book, spending time with friends and family, playing tennis, or working on a flower arrangement for a tablescape.
